FOUNDING ARTIST

Stephanie Neely

Stephanie Neely creates original oil paintings that reinterpret floral still life and botanicals through the use of bold color, refined structure and traditional technique. Her work is grounded in realism yet distinguished by saturated palettes giving each painting lasting visual authority.

Focused on craftsmanship and permanence, Neely uses professional grade pigments and time-honored methods to ensure longevity and color integrity. Her compositions are intentionally balanced to suit sophisticated interiors while remaining visually compelling as stand-alone works.

Her work is featured in numerous private collections as well as corporate and higher educational settings. She has received numerous national awards and has juried into membership with the Salmagundi Club of New York and the International Guild ofRealism. Her paintings appeal to discerning collectors who value representational art, technical mastery and timeless subject matter. She lives and works in Charlotte, North Carolina and is currently represented by Providence Gallery.

FOUNDING ARTIST

Rosemary Dykstra

Rosemary Dykstra was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina, and now calls Matthews, NC her home. She spent many years traveling as a consultant and in Nursing Management before retiring and fully embracing her lifelong dream of becoming a full-time artist. After several significant life changes, the transition into art making became both a personal and creative renewal.

Her artistic journey began with a watercolor class at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design while living in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. That experience ignited a deep commitment to creative practice and experimentation. Over time, her work evolved from watercolor to soft pastel, drawn by its rich color and blending possibilities. These days, she is using acrylic gouache for its vibrant, opaque intensity. She frequently incorporates mixed media, including charcoal, oil pastel, and collage into her paintings.

Her work has been exhibited in a number of shows both juried and by invitation only. Her work has been purchased by various private art collectors and can be seen at such places as Bank of America in Charlotte, NC and at Arbor Acres in Winston-Salem, NC. In 2025, Dykstra became one of 20 artists to have art seen on billboards around the region courtesy of ArtPopCLT.

FOUNDING ARTIST

René Fielder

René Fielder is a plein air and studio artist based in Charlotte, NC. She grew up in the mountains of Western North Carolina and graduated from UNC-Charlotte, attaining a Bachelor of Fine Art degree with a concentration in Graphic Design. After a 20+ year career in design and marketing, she is currently dividing her time between consulting and fine art, pursuing a more creative life.

Painting is a natural extension of a lifelong desire to make things. She works primarily in oils, using both brushes and palette knives to create interesting marks and bring a sense of spontaneity and motion to her work. Her work as a designer influences her choices in color and composition, balancing bold hues with structured elements. Rene’s subject matter is primarily still life and landscapes. She also regularly paints pet portrait commissions.

Combining her creative instincts with a love of the outdoors, plein air painting was a natural extension of her art practice. Working from a custom-made pochade box, René regularly ventures out to local Charlotte parks, greenways, and other scenic destinations to make a painting on location. She has also painted en plein air internationally in France and Spain.
